May 2016 #LCPSedChat Topic

This month we will be looking at Genius Hour, 20% Time or Passion Projects.  We have Laura Rahn (@rahnlaura) as our guest moderator with special guests Don Wettrick (@donwetrick) and Joy Kirr (@joykirr)

Q1: What do you think of when you hear the term Genius Hour, Passion Project or 20% time?
Q2 - What grade level or content area classrooms could Genius Hour be a part of? How do you begin?
Q3: How can Genius Hour projects be celebrated within the classroom, school, community? How can they fit into the OTTW or PBL initiatives in Loudoun County?
Q4: What are some of the hurdles facing an implementation of Genius Hour in the classroom?
